PiqSavi Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
PiqSavi ("PiqSavi," "we," "us," or "our") is a shopping-intelligence service marketed as Your AI Personal Shopper. This Privacy Policy explains the information PiqSavi processes in connection with the consumer service, how that information is used, and how you can contact us about privacy matters.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
Depending on the features you use, PiqSavi may collect information you provide directly, such as:
Email address, used as a login identity.
Password, used to create and access an account. PiqSavi stores a password hash rather than your plaintext password.
Display name used in account or profile contexts.
Account preferences and settings, such as budget, currency, country preference, category or goal preferences, theme or language settings, AI-mode preferences, and notification preferences.
Search and shopping inputs, including query text and filters.
Saved-product and related account activity, such as saved products, comparisons, searches, recommendation history, recently viewed items, favorites, wishlist items, owned products, or accessories where those features are used.
Support or privacy request content that you send to support@piqsavi.com or privacy@piqsavi.com.
Consumer registration does not currently use phone number, date of birth, or separate first and last name fields as standard registration fields.
2.2 Information generated through use
PiqSavi may generate or record information associated with your use of the service, such as:
Account and user identifiers.
Session identifiers and session metadata, such as creation and expiry times, remember-me behavior, last-seen time, and revocation state.
Timestamps associated with account and activity records.
Personalization and recommendation-related account state where those features are used.
Authentication and security events, including login success or failure, rate limiting, and similar security signals.
Request identifiers and technical request metadata used for operations and troubleshooting.
Client IP address where request logging or rate limiting captures it.
Optional device or browser hints where supported.
2.3. Information Received from Third Parties
PiqSavi may receive information from merchants, marketplaces, affiliate networks, APIs, data providers, technology providers, and other third parties where PiqSavi has an applicable authorization or other lawful basis to receive that information.
Depending on the applicable integration, this may include product, offer, merchant, seller, pricing, availability, attribution, referral, campaign, performance, or transaction-related information.
The categories of information available to PiqSavi may vary by merchant, affiliate program, market, integration, user authorization, and technical capability.
PiqSavi does not represent that every merchant or marketplace provides PiqSavi with personal information, transaction information, or any particular category of data.
2.3 Shopping and product information
PiqSavi processes product, offer, price, availability, seller, merchant, shipping, warranty, returns, rating, review, and related shopping attributes in order to evaluate offers and present recommendations. Product and offer information may come from third parties, imports, cached sources, test data, or simulated sources and may not always be live, complete, or current.
2.4 Affiliate and attribution information
Where affiliate or referral features are used, PiqSavi may process click identifiers, optional user or session identifiers, merchant or product identifiers, campaign or source information, referrer information, device or country fields, and related attribution information. Affiliate programs may vary by merchant or provider.
3. How We Use Information
Create and authenticate accounts and manage sessions.
Store and apply preferences and settings.
Generate and present shopping results, PiqScore evaluations, Recommendations, and related explanations.
Personalize results where account personalization is available.
Provide AI-assisted explanations or conversational assistance where enabled.
Protect the service against fraud, abuse, security threats, and excessive use.
Respond to support and privacy requests.
Support affiliate attribution or monetization-related processing where applicable.
Operate, log, troubleshoot, and maintain the service.
Affiliate compensation must not increase objective PiqScore or organic Recommendation ranking.
Where information is obtained from or through a third-party merchant, marketplace, affiliate program, API, or other provider, PiqSavi will use that information only for purposes permitted by the applicable authorization, agreement, program terms, applicable law, and any applicable user instructions or consent requirements.
4. PiqScore, Recommendations, Personalization, and AI
PiqScore is an objective offer-evaluation score based on available information PiqSavi actually evaluated. Recommendation is a separate layer that may indicate what a shopper might do. Personalization may influence which option is personally recommended without rewriting the canonical objective PiqScore. AI may assist with explanations or narratives but is not designed to rewrite canonical objective scoring.
Scores, recommendations, and AI-assisted explanations may be affected by missing, stale, incomplete, imported, test, simulated, or third-party information and may contain errors or omissions.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
PiqSavi does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, advertising pixels, or non-essential tracking. Authentication is currently designed around token-based sessions rather than browser cookie-based sessions.
The consumer application currently uses first-party cookies and browser storage that are necessary or functional for the product: HTTP cookies named piqsavi_decision_owner, piqsavi_delivery, and piqsavi_shopping_market; sessionStorage or localStorage for an access token and remember-me preference; and sessionStorage for a shopping-assistant conversation identifier. Those first-party stores are not session-authentication cookies and are not advertising or analytics cookies. The Early Access landing page does not currently use those cookies or browser-storage keys.
If PiqSavi later introduces advertising cookies, analytics, affiliate tracking technologies, advertising technologies, or additional browser storage, this Policy and the Cookie & Tracking Notice should be updated before or when those technologies become active.
6. Third-Party Services
PiqSavi may rely on third-party services for infrastructure, email, support, domain services, AI-assisted features, merchant or affiliate integrations, and related operations. The services actually involved may change over time. Third-party services process information according to their own agreements, settings, and applicable requirements.
Infrastructure and hosting services may process operational application data.
Support and privacy email services may process messages sent to PiqSavi contact addresses.
AI service providers may process prompts or related data when a live AI path is enabled.
Merchant or affiliate platforms may receive referral or transaction-related information when an approved integration is active.
7. International Processing
PiqSavi may rely on infrastructure or third-party services that process information in countries other than your country of residence. The exact locations involved depend on the services and integrations used at the relevant time.
8. Data Retention
Certain technical records use expiry periods for security or operational reasons. For example, session and authentication-related records may expire or be revoked after defined periods. These technical expiries are not the same thing as a complete category-by-category privacy retention schedule.
A final public retention schedule is not yet established for all account, preference, saved-activity, affiliate, audit, support, and backup records. You may contact privacy@piqsavi.com with retention questions or requests relating to your information.
9. Account Deletion and Data Export
PiqSavi currently provides authenticated self-service account deletion and an automated account-owned personal-data export for consumer User accounts. Those User-account tools do not delete Early Access waitlist registrations, which are stored separately. Instant erasure from every log, backup, or third-party system may not be available. Privacy-related deletion, access, correction, or export requests may also be sent to privacy@piqsavi.com and may be handled manually, subject to verification and applicable law.
10. Privacy Requests
Depending on your circumstances and applicable law, you may ask about access, correction, deletion, export or portability, objection to certain processing, or withdrawal of consent where consent applies. PiqSavi may need to verify your identity or authority before fulfilling a request.
11. Children
PiqSavi does not currently use date of birth as a standard registration field or operate a coded age gate in the consumer service reflected by these documents. Users should use PiqSavi only when legally permitted to do so under applicable law.
12. Security
PiqSavi uses technical and organizational controls appropriate to the service design, including password hashing, token or session protections, rate limiting, security-related headers, expiry controls, and secrets-handling practices. No security measure is perfect, and PiqSavi does not guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, or misuse can never occur.
13. Product and Merchant Data
Merchant, product, price, availability, and related shopping data may come from third parties, imports, cached, test, or simulated sources and may be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable. This Privacy Policy does not guarantee complete market coverage or catalog accuracy.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
PiqSavi may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes or as required by applicable law. The Last Updated date will be revised when this Policy changes.
